Belief in Action: Gaius’ Life and Work

Gauis’ story highlights how our faith guides daily life, particularly in helping young people build confidence and achieve their potential.

It also reflects the importance of family life and connection, in line with our values of fellowship and strong family bonds.

I think one of the most inspiring things about life is being able to motivate others, to be able to see persons that might be struggling gain strength and stamina. And then get through their education with flying colours, get through further education and be set up for life is quite inspiring.

This is josh, he’s a pupil that I’ve worked with over the last two or three years. So how did you get on with history? “Yeah, I got better than i thought.” And it’s was quite a big jump for you wasn’t it, to go from the year that you were in and stepping up to A-Levels. What are you taking this year, you’re going on to A2?  “A2 history, A2 business, AS Maths, Chemistry and an EPQ.” Excellent, so you’ve managed to maintain the standard that you’ll need at the A-level standard.

Something i really enjoy is motivating and understanding kids, getting down to their level, helping them to achieve and fulfil their potential.

My wife is from Jamaica, and we met about 10 years ago. We were on a visit to see some of our family, and we met and got married. We’ve got two children, Tylan who’s 9, Logan who’s 4 and we like to go back and visit their grandparents every two years or so. We strongly believe that it’s essential for the children to keep that link with their grandparents, and the family unit means a lot to us.
